About Vada

I’m Vada, a massage therapist trained in Zenthai Shiatsu.

For the past decade, I’ve been on journey trying to understand the human body and its functions. I’ve been diagnosed with various chronic illnesses, autoimmune diseases and ADHD, so I come to my practice with an awareness of how disability can impact each of us.

I’m passionate about discovering how our multiple health conditions are interconnected and how they can be addressed holistically.

My journey into Zenthai Shiatsu and bodywork began not in a classroom, but in the intimate space of my own body—one shaped by those chronic illnesses, a deep sensitivity, and a longing for true healing.

Living with complex conditions like hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, chronic fatigue and nervous system dysregulation gave me a curiosity and drive to explore beyond surface-level treatments and into the deeper realms of fascia, touch and emotional release.

Through years of personal healing, I came to understand that trauma doesn’t just live in the mind—it’s stored in the tissues, the breath, the nervous system.

Zenthai Shiatsu offered me a language to meet the body where words can only go so far. It became a way to listen to the whispers beneath the symptoms, to honour the body’s wisdom and to gently unravel the stories woven into our muscles, organs and joints.

This work is not just a profession for me, it’s a path of devotion. I believe in the power of safe, intuitive and intentional touch to restore connection between body, mind and spirit. My practice is a space where you are invited to feel, to soften, to release. And, to remember the innate intelligence your body holds.

Whether you're navigating pain, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, or simply seeking deeper embodiment, I walk beside you not as a fixer, but as a guide—someone who has lived the questions and continues to learn from the body every day.

My work is rooted in the belief that true healing occurs when both the body and energy systems are harmonised, promoting wellbeing from the inside out. My therapies invite you to pause, listen to your unique body and allow your natural healing processes to unfold.

I strive to create a sacred space where you remember your power and ability to heal - a place where energy is balanced and the spirit is restored.

My practice is a queer-friendly, non-judgemental space.
